Asset Protection

2008-07-17

protecting your assetsRecently Im been having thoughts and questions about asset protection. The reason why is because recently my friends grandma passed. Also, while I was helping my friend pack up her stuff for his mom we found a silver bond for 4000LB of silver, and a gold bond for 200LB of gold. I examined it a bit further before packing it away and noticed they were treasury bonds, and I looked on the back to see if they were endorsed, maybe like a check, but I didn't see any signature. Now Im worried, how can I protect my assets and how can I pass it on to my heirs.

So here I am at home doing research on what I now know is called 'wealth preservation', I knew I didn't want some kind of offshore asset protection, I wanted strictly domestic asset protection. So I began to seek out a local asset lawyer's website for more information and I found out that they are like a tax haven when it comes to making it more affordable in terms of lessening the tax on the estate and creating a solid estate plan. Visit AssetLawyer.Com if your interested in learning more about what I read.
