The Law of the Sea Treaty

2008-02-21

The Law of the Sea Treaty is a treaty thats trying to be pushed through Congress and passed as law, that would give the U.N. control over international waters. This would setup yet another international beauracracy that would be hostile to U.S. interests. This control over our ocean's would set a precident for international taxation of U.S. businesses. The provisions in this bill would also give the U.N. the right to do deep sea mining in international waters. The resources they could pull out would include things like oil, precious metals, etc. This bill is a threat to our national, economic, and environmental security.

Clinton gave away America's ONLY Deep Water port, and naval base along with it to Red China!! They are free to bring in all the nuclear bombs they wish, they own our nations 3rd largest trucking company Cisco, and can go anywhere in the US that they please...and they are NOT our friend!!! Our currency is rapidly declining to the value of the peso! And Bush is bankrupting the country!!! ALL our National Parks are pledged as security for loans, and have signs on them that they are under UN control...So not surprizing that we would give up the oceans also!! Hoping I don't have long to live!!!
